Here we have a Griffin & Howe Custom Marlin Ballard in need of some TLC. The actions overall condition is in need of refinishing, being it is rust coated and pitted. The barrel is adorned "No 972 Griffin & Howe Inc. New York" with fair bluing and some pitting. The stocks are in fair condition; the right side of the butt stock does have a crack behind the action. The butt pad will need to be replaced, as it has become compressed and rock hard. This is overall a great gunsmith project for someone looking to bring this piece back to life!
