Griffin & Howe 270 Win. Bolt Rifle w/Scope, Nice! CA OK!

Description:
Classic Griffin and Howe 270 Winchester rifle.
Looks like it was made in the 1950's.
Barrel serial #1899 
23-3/4" barrel has beautiful, crisp, clean, shiny bore and rifling.
Cross-hatch pattern bolt body and extractor, two panel checkered bolt knob, flag safety with knurled end, engraved FIRE and SAFE
Walnut stock, horn fore end tip, crisp checkering, Fresh Silvers style pad, extra large silver oval in the fore end, typical G&H sling studs for Winchester Super Grade type swivels. 
13-1/4" pull from chechered blade trigger, over the pad.
Lyman 48 receiver sight, and proper G&H front banded ramp with hood.
Lyman Alaskan steel body 2-1/2 power scope in G&H rings and base. Clear optics. Fine cross hairs with small dot in the center.
Note: the tang sight must get removed to install the scope. Both won't fit on the rifle at the same time. 
A handsome, vintage Griffin & Howe rifle in a great caliber, ready for a new home.
