Original 32-1/2 inch barrel chambered in 52 caliber with 16 groove rifling. Receiver is marked with the usual 4 line markings "J H Hall-H. Ferry-US 1831". Overall metal is generally VG with a light gunmetal grey patina coloration. The breach bolt has probably had some touch up to it at one time. Some minor signs of artificial coloring on it. Trigger guard is moderately pitted. Original wood has some chips towards the back of the receiver and some minor cracks towards the front of the forearm which have been repaired and are sound. Original sling swivels. Condition is VG with some minor signs of poor storage.
