Description:
H&R M1 Garand chambered in .30-06 Springfield. This M1 garand features a 24" barrel and a blade front sight with protective sides, adjustable HRA aperture rear sight. The Op Rod is marked "6535382 HRA" and the bolt is marked "6528287 HRA". The trigger group housing is marked "6528290- HRA- N", a stamped trigger guard with no markings, HRA safety, "HRA 5546008" hammer. The gas cylinder is a wide base with a HRA "O" gas cylinder lock screw. The butt stock is a smooth hardwood pistol grip with Dept of Defense acceptance proof on the left stock "three stars above on eagle" and a circle "P" behind the trigger group. The forearm is smooth two-piece hardwood. The barrel is stamped "HRA 6535448 9-54 RS40". The receiver is stamped "US RIFLE - CAL .30M1 - H&R ARMS CO. - 5532788. Overall this rifle remains in very good surplus condition and with a sling and a CMP certificate of authenticity. .30-06 Springfield
