H&R 1871 Buffalo Classic Rifle in .45-70 Caliber w/ Factory Williams Peep Sight & Lyman Globe Front Sight ** MINTY ** SOLD

Description:
The H&R 1871 Buffalo Classic rifle is a top lever break-action single-shot rifle chambered in .45 Colt or .45-70 Government, with a 20" inch "carbine" length barrel or 32" inch rifle barrel.  It was first offered in 1995 and while it hasn't been "officially" discontinued according to H&R's , new examples are non-existent and pristine used examples are hard to find and sought-after.  This particular rifle is a .45-70 Gov't model with the factory 32" inch barrel and factory installed Williams rear peep sight and Lyman Globe front sight.  It is all-original and in excellent "like-new" condition.  The factory blue finish on the barrel rates 99%, the factory case colors on the receiver and buttplate rate 99%, and the checkered Walnut stock set is minty.  The bore in this Buffalo Special is minty and mirror-bright, with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections whatsoever.  All of the controls on this rifle are in perfect working order, and the action locks up perfectly like the day it left the factory.  This is a very handsome and unique rifle that would be an excellent addition to any firearms collection.
