* C&R ELIGIBLE - Manufacture date 1971* A Very Nice Trapdoor Rifle with a 26" barrel and excellent rifled bore.The barrel blue is rated at 92% with some light freckling on the chamber area to the end of the forarm. The Trap Door, Hammer, Side Plate,Trigger guard, Butt plate and Barrel Bands are all nicely Case Colored. The Stock is Walnut with cut checkering and a pewter engraved forend tip. The rear sight is a flip up Tang Sight and Dove Tail front sight also case colored. The wood is in excellent condition with a few minor dings rated at 95%. A Hard Wood Ramrod is included. The entire gun is rated at Excellent or about 94% Over-All. * In addition this rifle was checked and upgraded by a reputable Gunsmith with improvements to the breech/cam mechanism for safe firing.The current owner stated he has fired modern cartridges of various loads with no problems or issues. You are encouraged to have your own Gunsmith do a safety accessment if in doubt. I will ship to a FFL or C&R within the Continental US Only including AK and HI.
