This is an unfired gun in the original foam shipping container. Included is the original hard cover book commemorating the Gen. Custer's battle of the Little Big Horn. The gun is beautifully executed with a very high quality finish. All parts except the barrel are beautiful case colored and engraved, even the barrel band and butt stock. The barrel is blued and like the rest of it is 100%. The bore is magnificent factory new, the tangent sight is also case colored. The wood and lacquer is also flawless with at least grade 2 walnut. This is a beautifully executed Civil Officer's Special Order Springfield Carbine. What a head turner at the range, re-enactment or center of a collection. .....$1095.
