Description: SALE PENDING WALK K NY 5/3/24 We've had several of these fine but not wildly known rifles over time. but in the full Mannlicher Stock variation and the conventional sporter. Most (stocks) were high gloss with nice Weatherby style rosewood grip caps and in the case of the sporters rosewood forend tips) This one is quite plain without the usual checkering although it does have the rosewood pg cap. Guessing this was an early variation (these were made in the 70's mostly) Actions were either FN (as this one is), Sako or Zastava ....The earliest were FN. A Google seach results show that the barrels were thought to be Douglas Air Guarge . It does have the correct H&R thin rubber butt plate that is dried out and should be replaced but is intact and present. The blue is deep rich and highly polished...it is possible that it was reblued at one time and is perfect.. Except as noted (dried out thin recoil pad) the condion overall is excellent and almost entirely free of scratches, marks or flaws. The rear site base (a williiams) is in place but the leaf part had been removed to for scope clearance. It should be easy to locate the Williams insert should somone wish to use the rear site We have many used scopes avail... If a buyer wishes to have it made fancier...our stock maker ccn checker it for about 300.00; his work is excetional .
