Harry Lawson Custom .257 Roberts Extensively Engraved, Adjustable Set Trigger, Full Mannlicher Stock Beautiful!

This .257 Roberts custom features a Mauser action with Lawson stamped barrel, finished in high polish blue, featuring a three leaf and ladder express rear sight, a ramp front sight, jeweled bolt, a walnut checkered two piece full length Mannlicher style stock, straight comb, a Pachmayr black pad, metal grip cap and adjustable double set triggers. The set trigger is very light and will not register on my gauge, I would set it set it a few ounces heavier for myself if I were going to keep it (just my opinion). The floor plate and trigger guard are finely engraved with an antlered game in a woodland setting. The bolt is an American type round knob. Excellent. Metal retains majority of the custom applied high polish blue. The front of the trigger guard shows pitting and blue loss. same on the smooth side of the bolt knob.  Stock is excellent with sharp checkering but there is fine stress crack on left side The bore is bright with excellent rifling and no visible pitting or excess wear. This is a gorgeous rifle very light very slim and trim, comes to the shoulder just like a custom rifle should. LOP is 13 5/8. Please ask any questions you may have. Rifle is in "as-is" condition and cannot be returned. Famed custom gunsmith Harry Lawson built numerous rifles from his shop in Tucson and is very renowned for his barrels. Harry has been dead for over thirty years.
