24" BARREL WITH MUZZLE BREAK, LEUPOLD 3,5x10 VARI-X III SCOPE, ENGRAVED AND GOLD WIRE INLAID RINGS & BASE, PISTOL HAND GRIP, ROSEWOOD GRIP CAP, EBONY INLAY, ROSEWOOD FOREARM TIP, OAK LEAF CHECKERING, CHEEKPIECE, ENGRAVED FLOORPLATE, 13-5/8" LOP, RECOIL PAD, 9 LBS 9-1/2 OZ.

A custom bolt action rifle chambered for the .243 Winchester cartridge built on a Winchester Model 70 action with a 3 position side wing safety. The rifle is built with a 24" blued round steel barrel with a muzzle break. The left side barrel reads "MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S. OF AMERICA" over "WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL" - "WINCHESTER" over "TRADE MARK" - "MODEL-70-.243WIN -". The left side receiver reads "WINCHESTER" over "TRADE MARK". Leupold 3,5x10 VARI-X III rifle scope with engraved and gold wire inlaid mounts. The hinged floorplate is scroll engraved with a gold-inlaid portrait of a Springbok. The single trigger is protected by a scroll engraved trigger guard. The receiver and top of the barrel near the receiver are scroll engraved with gold wire inlay. Gold Wire Inlay at tip of muzzle break. Harry Lawson deluxe quality tiger maple stock with cheekpiece, pistol hand grip with rosewood grip cap, oak leaf checkering, rosewood forearm tip, ebony inlay on underside of forearm, studs for sling on both the toe line of buttstock and forearm, 13-5/8" LOP to a Pachmayr White Line black rubber ventilated recoil pad, 9 Lbs. 9-1/2 Oz. with scope/mounts.
