Standard configuration HK 43 semi-automatic rifle, cal. .223, SN: 1001363E, predecessor to the H&K 93, created 1974 with approximately 200 imported to U.S. Features include a 16 inch barrel with attached flash hider, post front sight and drum/height adjustable rear sight, black synthetic furniture including pistol grip and fixed buttstock with dual sling attachment points on left side, complemented by a carrying handle. Receiver markings include "HK 43 1001363 E 3/74" on the left side and "Made in Germany excl. for SACO Art. Va. 22 209 Kal. .223" on the right side. Standard, unmarked, 30 round steel magazine. The HK43 is the predecessor to the Heckler & Koch 93 semi-automatic rifle, specifically designed for sale to conscripts to familiarize them with their service rifle before entering military service, a common practice in Germany and Switzerland. RESTRICTED AS ASSAULT WEAPON WITH HIGH CAPACITY MAGAZINE. WILL NOT SHIP TO RESTRICTED STATES.
