Martial Henry Rifle Serial # 3244

Description:
This gun serial # 3244 falls within the serial range 3000 to 4200 which is the accepted range for the govt. purchased guns.
The butt plate and both screws are numbered 3244.
2 of the 3 stock screws show evidence of the correct serial # and 1 has too much corosion to find a number.
The action operates but is a bit loose causing the lever to hang down some in the closed position.
Bore is dark.
