This three digit serial numbered Henry, 655, has all the desired features seen on an early model Henry. Some of the distinguishing features of this gun are the first model butt plate and also having screws matched to the gun. In addition to the perch belly stock is the sharp radius on the receiver. There is an additional dovetail in the barrel to accommodate sight placement.
There is ample color left on the barrel and tube, more than most examples of this age. Walnut stock has the normal handling marks for its age. With a nicely colored brass receiver, this is an above the average Henry in this serial numbered range.
