Henry Big Boy large loop lever action rifle chambered in 45-70 Government. This rifle has a very unique serial number "BHC000109' and that the "BHC" prefix stands for "Bolo Hat Company" which belonged to Doug Turnbull. There were a very small number of these Henry's built by Doug and would be considered rare. The markings on the left side of the barrel is marked "HENRY REPEATING ARMS–RICE LAKE, WI–MADE IN USA". The right side of the barrel is marked "CAL. 45-70 GOV't". The upper tang is marked "MODEL H010G / BHC000104". The front sight is a blade / bead dovetailed into the barrel. The rear sight is a Semi-Buckhorn elevator sight with a white diamond that is dovetailed and screw set to the barrel. The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped. The 18.5" round barrel, mag tube and trigger are all in a blued finish. The frame, hammer, lever loop and forend cap are all nicely case colored. The stocks are two-piece checkered American walnut with a capped forearm, semi pistol grip, straight comb, sling stud front and rear, and a Henry ventilated rubber recoil pad. Comes NIB with the factory paperwork. .45-70 Government
