Offered for sale: Henry 1860 Lever Action rifle in 44-40 caliber. This is a modern rendition of the famous 19th century rifle of Civil War and Western Expansion use. The barrel is 24 inches with a brass receiver. There is a uniform light patina on the brass, which could be polished clean with a jeweler's cloth, if desired. The dark walnut stock is well figured. Both wood and metal are without any blemish. I am the second owner. It was unfired from the original owner and I have shot about 25 rounds through it. Twenty yard handloads with 2400 and #9 were "clover leafs".Priced at $1695, plus actual shipping/insurance costs to your ffl. Three day no-shoot inspection offered.
