The single-shot action of the Mini Bolt Youth Rimfire Rifle and the safety mechanisms teach new shooters to focus on deliberate, aimed fire. The cartridge must be manually placed directly into the chamber for every shot, then the rifle must be manually cocked by pulling the cocking knob back, and then the sliding safety lever must be pushed forward before firing.
