Hill Country Rifles custom Dakota 76 .416 Remington Magnum. Made in 2016 and consigned by the original owner, serial 3866 has a 22-inch Benchmark match grade barrel (stainless steel, 1/14 twist, tapering to .770-inch at the band, threaded with cap, banded front sight with skeleton hood and red fiber optic bead, banded sling swivel stud, island rear sight assembly with skeleton express blade and red fiber optic sighting line). Features include a Cerakote finish, blueprinted action, regulated sights (50 yards), jeweled bolt body, full-length claw extractor, three-position safety, recessed bolt release and an inside-the-bow release button. Talley quick release rings (30mm) are included. STOCK: A McMillan Supergrade stock (impressed checkering, textured finish, scalloped cheek rest, toe line stud, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad) is part of the build. ACCURACY: The included test target shows a .898 MOA group (three shots, center-to-center, 100 yards, 400-grain Barnes Triple Shock). DIMENSIONS: Weight (with mounts) is 8.6 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.75 inches. ROUND COUNT: Fewer than 100 rounds have been fired. CONDITION: The bore is pristine. Metal finish is at least 95 percent, the majority of adjustment from rubbing on the bolt knob. Stock finish is approximately 97 percent. Muzzle brake is absent. Build sheet is present.
