A bolt rifle chambered for the .300 H&H Magnum cartridge by Holland & Holland. It has a blacked, round 24” blacked barrel with rear island base express sights - 1 standing (50/200 Yds) and 1 leaf (350 Yds), barrel banded ramp blade foresight with folding hood and barrel band sling swivel stud. Side and flag safeties. Foliate scroll engraving on receiver, magazine plate, barrel cap box, standing African lion portrait on magazine plate. The bolt handle knob is checkered & border engraved. Top of the receiver is marked "300 H&H MAGNUM RIMLESS" while the top of the barrel is marked "HOLLAND & HOLLAND. 13. BRUTON STREET. LONDON." Nicely figured deluxe quality reddish-brown walnut stock with monte-carlo comb, shadow line (beaded) cheek piece, pistol grip, engraved stock oval - "PWT" in shaded block, reinforcing crossbolt, engraved metal cap box, 5/8" leather covered recoil pad and sling swivel stud. 7 Lbs. - 15 Oz. without scope - 9 Lbs. - 2 Oz. with scope and rings, Scope is a Zeiss Diavari-C -3-9x36 with Holland & Holland quick detachable rings.
