Hopkins & Allen 1880s 32-40 Custom Ordered Takedown

Here is a very nice condition 1880s H&A falling block rifle in custom ordered 32-40 winchester 
H&A only did up to 32-20 production guns anything bigger was custom ordered
Has the Merwin and Hulbert name along with H&A on top of barrel

Has a great clean bore good rifling down octogon 26" barrel and is a takedown model with side lever to take gun apart
Has the orginal leeman flip up rear sight and nice semi buckhorn rear sight with front blade
Tight lockup and mechanics and safety works 
Decent wood all around there is rub mark on stock on the right side of the stock see pics
Has most of the orginal bluing as well with some fainting here and there
Orginal Butt plate with fancy H&A design

very nice example these are rare guns to come across i only seen one other two years back on and it went for 2600$ not as nice as this one

i will include a rare 32-40 cartidge adaptor made by winchester nickle silver dated 1899 that allows 32 colt to be shot either longs or shorts
--Do not shoot hi pressure 32-40 smokeless in this only reduced loads suitible for guns dated from time period---
