NICE Husqvarna No 3 Rolling Block Sporting Rifle

Description:
This is a very nice example of one of Husqvarna's commercial rolling block sporting rifles. It IS NOT a cut down M67 military rifle.  This model was referred to as the No 3. Chambered in 12.7x44R (very similar to. 50-70), cases can be easily fabricated from .50 Alaskan brass. Bullet diameters similar to .50-70. Slug barrel or chamber cast to determine.  This example has a 30.5" barrel with 80% plumb blue. Bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. Three leaf rear sight and blade front sight. The receiver is tight and crisp.  The breech block has both CF and RF holes. This was so that shooters could take advantage of abundant and inexpensive rimfire military surplus ammunition. The case colors have faded to a smokey grey. Rifle weighs about 7.5 lbs. Good Plus stocks with minor bumps and bruises.  Nicely checkered wrist.
