IMI UZI Model A Semi-Auto 9mm 16" Barrel, Sling, Display Barrel, Manual The rifle is fitted with a folding metal stock, which locks securely in both open and closed positions. The polymer grips and forearm show minimal wear, retaining a clean appearance. The left side of the receiver is marked: "UZI SEMI-AUTO / MODEL A / 9mm PARA / IMI ISRAEL." This rifle comes with its original manual, display barrel, a 16-inch functional barrel, sling. No magazine is included. The IMI UZI Model A is one of the most recognizable submachine gun variants in the world, with its civilian-legal semi-auto version being highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike. Imported before the 1989 ban, the Model A is one of the earliest and most desirable UZI semi-auto variants, featuring a 16-inch barrel and a working folding stock while retaining the iconic compact design. The IMI UZI Model A semi-automatic rifles were produced and imported into the United States from 1980 to 1983. These were the first semi-auto UZI variants made available to the civilian market and were imported by Action Arms Ltd. of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This model was discontinued in 1989 following the import restrictions under the Bush-era assault weapons ban.
