Purchased this Ithaca Deluxe Model LSA-65 bolt action rifle back in '81.
Unfired, unable to find the time use it, another impulse buy, back of the safe it went. 
It became a Safe Queen rifle over the years.
Kept in minty condition snake cleaned, property lubricated, in dust free safe.
Periodically checked and maintained during my "Man Cave Years" of "ooohing & aaahing" pistol/rifle handling sessions.  

Ithaca Model LSA-65 (bolt action rifle in 30.06 caliber. It includes a 22 inch Bofors blued steel barrel, checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock, sling posts, detachable magazine, thumb safety, made in Finland, stainless steel bolt handle, Ithaca rubber butt-plate and a Bushnell 3x9 Banner scope.  Note: The scopes top turret cap with screw broken. (see picture)
Comes in seldom used Kolpin soft case.

The Ithaca Model LSA-65 is a bolt action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield, manufactured by Ithaca Gun Co. and produced in Finland. It features a blued steel barrel, a checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock, and a stainless steel bolt handle. The rifle uses a detachable magazine with a standard capacity of five rounds. Sling posts are installed, and the butt end is fitted with an Ithaca-branded rubber recoil pad. A Bushnell 3x9 Banner scope is mounted, providing variable magnification for the .30-06 platform.

This LSA-65 is in new condition and has not been fired since purchase. The rifle retains its original finish and configuration, including its Bofors-marked barrel and thumb safety. The scope’s top turret cap has a broken screw. The firearm was produced during Ithaca’s collaboration with Finnish manufacturers, known for precision machining and high-quality barrels. Its combination of steel and walnut components reflects the typical design of Ithaca’s bolt-action rifles from that era.

Included with the rifle is a Kolpin soft case that has seen limited use. The Bushnell 3x9 Banner scope remains mounted on the receiver. No additional accessories or packaging are listed beyond the case and scope. The rifle’s Finnish manufacture and unfired condition make it a complete, original configuration example of the Ithaca Model LSA-65 chambered in .30-06.
