Description:
Extremely low serial number of the discontinued IWI Tavor SAR (Semi-Automatic Rifle) in standard configuration with 18” barrel, chambered in 5.56 NATO. “P” “5.56 NATO 1:7/HAMMER FORGED/CL” on the left side of the exposed barrel. The rifle has a picatinny rail running the length on top with a set of hide-away, flip-up iron sights. The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear is just an aperture. Charging handle located on the left side of the rifle but can be swapped for left handed shooters. Safety selector located on the grip just rear of the trigger, this can also be swapped to the other side. Full SN on a metal plate in the polycarbonate frame, over “TAVOR SAR .223 REM/IWI US – HARRISBURG, PA” and the IWI logo over “TAVOR”. On the front right “MADE IN ISRAEL” is on the exposed barrel. A second segment of 45 degree angled picatinny rail on the right side, covering the ambidextrous slot for the charging handle. In front of the magazine is the magazine release lever, can be actuated from either side, and to the rear of the magazine is the bolt release switch. Supplied with two 28-shot magazines marked "IWI US". Complete with original shipping box with end label referencing: make, model, caliber, color, barrel length, and SN, cleaning kit, and literature to include: owners manual, warranty, and NRA membership.
Condition:
Near excellent, the metal components with sharp edge wear and the polymer frame with slightly darkened handling and a few shallow superficial scuffs in keeping with light but careful use. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. EXC+ box, literature and accessories.
