Very nice custom Jarrett Rifle's Moonwalker model in 7mm-08 ----13-1/2" LOP
Description:
Reduced 9-20-22...Here's a top shelf custom rifle built by Jarrett Rifles of Jackson, SC. The bare rifle weighs in at light 7lb 1oz and has a 13-1/2" LOP. This is perfect for someone who doesn't want a shoulder breaking big caliber 10-12lb gun. It'd make someone (maybe a smaller statured person?) a real nice deer or antelope rifle using the 7mm-08 cartridge.
The action and barrel are Kenny Jarrett's own design. I've heard he's a stickler for precision and doing things the way he wants it done and that's why he had to start making his own barrels and receivers. The trigger break is incredibly nice, I think he use's Jewel triggers. There's a set of scope bases installed, I believe them to be Talley's. The Jarrett Signature Stock is black and has a great feel. I believe it'd be considered non-slip when it's wet. All around, this is one great looking and feeling rifle. I don't think you'd be disappointed.
The stock is in perfect condition. I see no scratches, dings or nicks in the finish. If you look at the 9th picture you can see the metal finish on the bolt knob has a scratch in the paint or anodizing. In the same picture, the receiver between the ejection port and the bolt handle shows a number of little dings in the finish. I believe these to be caused by empty brass hitting the receiver as it's ejected. The floor plate has engraving on it that I imagine the first owner had done. I have no idea of who it is or the meaning. That's all I really see in distractions.
