A unique and easily-recognizable carbine, the Kel-Tec Sub-2000 is a folding pistol caliber carbine available in a spread of calibers, including 9mm Luger, 10mm Auto, .45 Auto, and .40 S&W. This piece is a 9mm model and is compatible with standard Glock-pattern magazines. The Sub-2000 folds in half vertically for easy storage and even concealment in backpacks or suitcases—this makes the Sub-2000 a popular "bag gun" for those on the road or commuting around. The rifle is largely made up of lightweight polymer components with steel and aluminum internal components, with a polymer handguard with picatinny and M-lok attachment points. The rifle operates on a simple blowback system, but does thus have a rather stiff cocking mechanism and buffer/recoil spring. The sights are comprised of a folding rear peep sight paired with an adjustable AR-style front sight post. Optics can be attached to the handguard's rail, but can impede its full folding path of travel (this design disadvantage was amended with 2024's Gen 3 Sub-2000). This Sub-2000 is in very good condition and appears to have little previous use. The rifle does not include any magazines, case, or box.
