Antique percussion Kentucky/Pennsylvania rifle Circa 1850
Description: On Hold Sale Pending. Antique Kentucky or Pennsylvania rifle wall hanger approximately 36 caliber Circa 1850. The 37.5 inch rifled barrel is stamped John Lash, and faint Columbus Ohio 1849. There is also a faint American eagle stamped, I've read the eagle stamp may relate to treaty guns. J. Lash is listed in Early American gun maker data base. The lock has no markings and is missing all internal parts so it's a Wall hanger. Both front and rear sights are present. The wood stock is in very good condition. The trigger guard, but plate and ramrod holder are brass. There is a German silver nose cap and ramrod present. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Shipping will be actuall cost by insured usps priority mail with tracking. On Hold Sale Pending SOLD Curio/Relic: Yes Antique: Yes |
