This .50 caliber Kentucky - Alamo Commemorative - 150 year -1836 to 1986 rifle has a browned octagon 13/16" x 36" barrel with 1:48 twist and fitted with fixed sights. The bore is in pristine - unfired condition. Stamped on the top flat in silver wash is 1836*150th Anniversary*1986. The P grade European Walnut stock is mounted with German silver furniture, including an engraved pierced patch box which is embellished with the Alamo, two frontier men, "The State of Texas" star and inscription "Liberty or Death 1836". The side plate is stamped 51 of 1836. The browned percussion lock with 1836 and the Texas Star stamped in gold wash, is activated by double set triggers. Length of pull is 13-1/2", overall length is 50-1/2", weight is 7.2 lbs. Please Note: This rifle comes in the original box, accompanied with a red velvet scabbard, nickel plated Alamo flask with 2 extra flask spouts and The American Historical Foundation Delivery Ticket.
