Magnificent Golden-Age Kentucky Rifle by John Hagy, Ex-Kindig, Flintlock

Description:
This is a wonderful, relief-carved flintlock by John Hagy.  It came out of Joe Kindig's collection around 1970 and has been in a few prominent K.R.A collections since.  Incredible condition, overall, with beautiful carving everywhere and a superb engraved patchbox.  Remnant of a signature is a bit better under magnification. 

Shipping and insurance to you is included (lower 48). However, you'll have to return my aluminum hard case at your expense. PLEASE NOTE: I do not recommend firing the antique guns that I sell. If you decide to do so, you do it at your own risk! This includes working the actions (locks, hammers, triggers, etc.) Old guns (pre-1899) have old parts, including old springs and other internals (we are talking about 150+ years old, on average!). These parts can and do break. You are not buying a new gun; this is an antique/collectible and it is catagorized as such for that reason.
