Kimber of Oregon Model 89 African .505 Gibbs, made on a proprietary double square bridge Magnum length Mauser action by Kimber of Oregon ca. 1990 to 1991, less than 20 .505 Gibbs were reportedly made. Three position Winchester style safety, integral dovetail mounts for Kimber QD rings, quarter rib with standing Express sight and single folding blade, banded/hooded front sight with flip up night sight, inletted rear swivel and barrel band front swivel, French walnut stock, w/ right hand pancake style cheekpiece, trap grip cap, panel checkering on pistol grip and wrap checkering on forearm, w/ an ebony forend tip, two steel cross bolts w/ ebony caps, inside the trigger bow release and straddle floor plate, drop belly magazine has 4 round capacity, 24" bbl., and 14" LOP over factory red pad. Gun weighs 9 lbs. 8 oz. and is serial number 505X1. Gun has a small little mark on the stock, most likely from the gun safe, but overall is near perfect...99% plus!
