Serious Kimber collectors will regognize this as a very special and rare rifle. Kimber turned loose two independent gunsmiths to design thier own interpretation of what a Kimber Supergrade should look like. Renouned smith Phil Fischer created what is known as the "Hands Down Favorite" to be known as the "One of 14 Fischer Supergrades." E.G Bishop created about 17 of the guns, but they only had 18 LPI checkering and no special features other thatn a beaded cheekpiece. Kimber's in-house wood shop made 39 in .22 and about 19 in .22 WMR. The were all consecutively numbered wih an SG prefix as they were completed and sent back to Kimber. Fisher went all out by cutting a deep relief beaded cheekpiece, rust-blued reciever an barrel, 22 LPI Wrapped checkering, 3 panel checkered bolt hande and a jeweled bolt body. This gun, SG27 is stunning. Buyer pays insured shipping.
