Description: Kimber Model 84M Varmint .22-250. Serial KMO1674 has a 26-inch match grade stainless steel barrel (tapers to .690-inch at the muzzle, fluted, satin finish). Features of this early production rifle include a full-length Mauser claw extractor, two-position wing safety, steel bottom metal and a crisp trigger. WOOD: Stocked from an exceptional blank of AA-grade claro, appointments include 24 lines-per-inch borderless panel checkering, steel grip cap, sling swivel studs, thin recoil pad (with smoothed face) and a satin finish. The action beds on twin aluminum pillars and the barrel free floated (at the factory) through the channel to avoid accuracy-robbing pressure. Kimber scalloped bases with Leupold rings (1-inch medium) are attached. No box, papers or known history. DIMENSIONS: Weight (with mounts) is 7.8 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.75 inches. CONDITION: The bore is strong and bright. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent. Wood is at least 95 percent with modest impressions on the right butt.
