For sale is a Kimber Model 8400 Classic bolt-action rifle, chambered in the legendary long-range magnum 7mm Remington Magnum. This rifle is in excellent used condition and represents Kimber's premier big-game rifle – combining classic features with precision manufacturing to deliver unmatched accuracy and dependability. Serial Number: KW02978.
The Model 8400 Classic is a traditional sporter with a fine walnut stock featuring hand-cut checkering and a hand-rubbed oil finish. It has a 24-inch match-grade barrel, chamber, and trigger, a 3-position wing safety, and a Pachmayr® Decelerator® recoil pad. The rifle has a blued metal finish and is drilled and tapped for scope mounting (no scope or rings included). Overall length is 43.5 inches.
Condition Note: There are some handling marks including a scratch on the endcap of the fore-end – honest, minor wear from field use. The bore is clean and clear with sharp rifling, and the checkering is sharp, providing a rough and easily grippable texture.
