Description:
Kimber of Oregon Model 89 BGR .280 Remington. A most desirable Kimber manufactured rifle featuring a number of Winchester's Pre-64 Model 70 appointments. The claw extractor, controlled round feed, 3 position safety, and a few features of the Super Grade Model 70, as the ebony tipped forend, raised cheekpiece, inlaid sling swivel bases, and red rubber recoil pad. Other features but not attributes of the pre-64 Winchesters, include a 22" sporter barrel (without sights), integral scope mounts (but missing rings), blued steel grip cap, Claro walnut stock, fine line checkering.
