Description:
An LWRC CSASS rifle is a Compact Semi Auto Sniper System like none other. The innovation from LWRC International is amplified beyond what you’d expect in the LWRC 308 CSASS. In this combat-zone ready weapon, it’s list of features speak a thousand words. The CSASS is encased by type III hard-coat anodize on its receivers and rails and dressed in a wickedly accurate cold-hammer-forged, NiCorr-treated, spiral-fluted barrel. The heart of the weapon is the patented LWRCI Short Stroke Gas Piston System, 20 position tunable gas block, and its fully ambidextrous charging handle and lower controls. Added enhancements are Magpul grips and a PMAG, Surefire muzzle break, and a Geissele 2 stage precision trigger. You'd be incorrect to assume this is a REPR variation–it's more like the LWRC IC, but juiced up and chocked full of steroids. Think of it like a fighting carbine that can do double duty as a precision rifle rather than the reverse. Notably absent is the side-mounted charging handle, instead opting for a more traditional AR approach. Of course, it has the piston operation system that LWRC is known for. Oh, it's also about a pound and a half lighter than the REPR and guaranteed sub-MOA with appropriate ammunition. So, that's the best online description I can find. My comments? It's a killer deal for an extremely cool and well fitted rifle. Price for a new one? MSRP is a touch over 4G. You might find one for less, if you can find one, but not at this price. Except here.
