Description: ****************SOLD**************** Another “ESTATE” firearm listing brought to you from Dust 2 Dollars who prides themselves on showing the complete gun in high quality pictures along with a detailed description for your consideration. We offer you an “All Matching Numbers” Steyr Mannlicher model 1952 Daimler Schoenauer Carbine chambered in 270 Winchester manufactured in 1954. The Stoeger Arms Corporation was the official Mannlicher-Schoenauer importer and Steyr worked closely with Stoeger to produce rifles suitable for the American market. The top of the chamber ring has the six-line marking “MADE IN AUSTRIA / ORIGINAL / MANNLICHER / SCHOENAUER / Mod. 1952 / KAL. 270”. The left side of the receiver is marked with an “eagle” proof and “54” date stamp. The left side of the barrel shank is marked with an “eagle” proof, “NPV” and “54”. The left side of the receiver is marked “STEYR-DAIMLER-PUCH A.G., STEYR” and with a Steyr logo. The bottom of the magazine is marked "STOEGER / ARMS / CORPORATION / NEW-YORK / Sole U.S. agents / with the Steyr logo at the bottom. The serial number of the rifle is “13300”. That number is marked on the receiver, barrel, stock, bolt and trigger guard. The number “300” is marked on the bolt release, trigger, safety and nose cap. The trigger plate is marked “3300” which makes this an all matching numbers Carbine and is a rare thing after 68 years. The 20 inch barrel has a bright bore with excellent lands and grooves with no issues. The metal finish shows marks with wear spots and overall is in fine condition. There are some small surface marks and wear from the last 68 years of use. The stock is solid with no cracks on the inside or outside. It shows little wear and signs of use and is solid with no issues and overall is in very fine condition. As you can see a mount and scope were added to the gun. The mount is a Leupold Adjusto-Mount with a period correct Leupold Pioneer scope. The scope optics are bright with one small spot on the outer edge. This will be shipped fully insured UPS Ground to your FFL for $60. It will be shipped in a foam lined double walled cardboard box that we have manufactured for us so that your gun arrives safe.
