Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer 1908 Carbine in Factory 8X57JS Chambering with Swarovski 4X32 Scope in Claw Mounts
Description:
Steyr Mannlicher Schoenauer 1908 Carbine in Factory 8X57JS Chambering with vintage Swarovski 4X32 Scope with a three-point reticle in classic see-thru Claw Mounts. See two articles in the photos that attest to the fact that Steyr did produce some MS guns in multipurpose and readily-available 8X57JS chambering. Also, look at the photo of the proof marks to see the 7.9X57 designation in the German/Austrian manner. Mannlicher Collectors Assoc. lists Mannlicher Schoenauer in 8X57 as manufactured in 1924/25. Classic MS carbine configuration with a fully-functional double-set trigger and a metal buttplate with bullet storage. Serial Number 4575. Correct style strap included. Gun is a GI WWII bringback, since it has a well-executed Dufflebag cut. No import markings are visible. Scope and gun are in very good condition. Gun is quite accurate with Hornady Custom 196 grain SP ammo. Gun will be shipped in a hard case. Shipping cost is $60.00.
