Excellent Condition
Description: For sale is a beautiful Model 1903 Mannlicher Schoenauer in 6.5x54 caliber. This rifle was a one family ownership before I obtained it and as you can see from the images it has spent more time in a gun safe than in the field. It has a shinny bore. The blueing is in excellent condition with the only ware on the heel and toe of the steel but plate. The wood has a gorgeous grain pattern and is in excellent condition also. it does have several very light dings and wear marks but no chips,cracks or defects of any kind. The worst of the marks can be seen in the last image , just below and in front of the bolt release button. The stock and rifle have matching numbers. It comes with the original cleaning rod ! It also has a Griffin & Howe quick release scope mount that I was told was installed by Griffin & Howe way back when. It also has a jeweled bottom on the rotary magazine that was done by Griffin & Howe .There are not many of these left in this original condition. Buyer pays $55. Shipping and insured to lower 48 .
