Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1950 .270 Win

This is an excellent example of the Mannlicher Schoenauer Model 1950. It appears to be a transition model, as the bolt handle is swept back, which is seen on the Model 1952. The 1950 Model had the butterknife bolt handle that pointed straight down. The bore is excellent! Bright with well-defined lands and grooves. I have only about 20 rounds fired from it, and I don't think that it's seen much use. The swing mount is made by Pachmayr, and as you can see in the photos, has a bit of a plum-colored hue to it. The scope is a vintage Weaver K6 that still has fine clarity, and it has a fine crosshair. There are very few handling marks in the wood. No scratches or deep gouges. The bluing is excellent with no signs of rust or pitting. All in all, a beautiful rifle in that sleek European style. The double-set triggers functioned flawlessly.
