Mannlicher-Schoenauer Model 1952 Sporting Rifle 270 Winchester
Description: Serial #8992, .270 Win., 23" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. The barrel and receiver retain 90-95% of the original blue finish that has some scattered silvering along the high edges, and on the bearing surfaces of the bolt. The rifle still has the original iron sights fitted, but also has a Weaver V7-1 variable power scope (2.5x – 7x) installed on a Pachmayr Lo-Swing mount. The scope has a duplex reticle with clear optics. The checkered walnut pistol grip stock with ebony forend tip, and continental cheek-piece was professionally refinished at some point with only a few light handling marks marring the wood now. This is a great looking rifle, perfect for North American light-medium game, and rates very good-fine condition overall.
