1895 LIGHTWEIGHT RIFLE IN .33 C. F. CALIBER, #436XXX, MADE C.1910
Description: ONE OF THE MOST ELUSIVE AND DIFFICULT MARLIN MODELS TO ACQUIRE IS THIS 1895 LIGHTWEIGHT RIFLE IN .33 C. F. CALIBER, #436XXX, MADE C.1910. Interestingly, Marlin hated to make any reference to Winchester on its products which is why this is marked ".33 C. F." instead of .33 WCF as found on the Model 1886 Winchester. Very few 1895 Marlins were made in any caliber with the last ones in .33 C.F. especially rare and seldom seen. This is a fine example with excellent wood and hard rubber Marlin embossed shotgun butt plate, tight wood to metal fit, most of the receivers of this late model were blued and this one has turned basically a dark color, thinning barrel and magazine blue, exc. screws, original buckhorn rear sight with Rocky Mountain blade/bead front sight, exc. bore, very tight mech., exc. markings. I can go years without seeing one of these. SOLD Manufacturer: Marlin Model: 1895 LIGTWEIGHT Serial Number: 436XXX Caliber Info: .33 WCF Condition: fine Barrels: 24 |
