Vintage JM Marlin rifle mfg 1906 25-20 Take down small game rifle for sale from my peronal colletion. The JM Marlin 94 was our grandfathers varmint gun chambered in the popular 25-20 cartridge. This one is the takedown  model popular with Train Traveling Hunters and Railroad Employees.This feature allowed them to carry the rifle in theur suitcase. This is in very nice condition retaining Strong Blue on the octagon bbl. nice case colors on lever and hammer.(see pics).Receiver case colors have turned a pleasing smooth even Plum colored  Patina. Take down is very tight and functions well. has a good shootable bore and rifling. and shoots well. The wood is excellent with original varnish and no cracks. just light handling marks(see pics)crescent steel Butt plate. original sights and added rear tang sight.vintage soft gun case and 25 rds factory ammo.
