JM Marlin 1895 CENTURY LIMITED , AS NEW, complete with all papers, hammer spurr, trigger lock, Un-fired , unhandle.
ONLY 2500 were made to commemorate both the 100 th year anniversary (1895-1995 ) of the Model 1895, 45-70 and  the 125th year of Marlin firearm production (1870-1995). All 2500 rifles were made in 1995. Each is Serial numbered by prefix 1895 and the production sequence of each rifle , 1 through 2500 and this is #1398 out of 2500. The receiver is engraved over  " Coin Finish "(?)  Much, if not all, the engraving was done by hand and is signed Bottega Giovanelli ,  a shop / school  ( one of several ) clustered in a town in Italy dedicated to carrying on the art of hand engraving .The wood and metal finish is un-diminished in ay way . Blued metal buttplats, Blued barrel, 1/2 octagonal 1/2 round ..
