The Marlin Levermatic series featured a unique cam and roller action allowing a very short throw lever gun. This along with the one-piece stock, bedded action, and the Micro-Groove rifling produced a rifle that had minute to sub-minute of angle groups. This in a time when such a thing was only dreamed of in specially built rifles. The Model 56 was designed for the low-price market and is a real achievement for the time. .22 Short/Long/Long Rifle

Metal Condition: Very good. There are a few handling marks but nothing bad.
Wood Condition: Very good. There are a few scratches and digs but nothing severe.
Bore Condition: Shiny and bright with good rifling.
Barrels: 24-inch Micro-Groove
Triggers: Factory trigger.
Stock Dimensions:
13-3/8 inch LOP.
Fore End: One-piece walnut stock and fore end.
Butt Pad: Black plate.
Weight: 6 lb - 11 oz
Sights: Silver bead and notch iron sights. Drilled and tapped for your choice of scope.
