MARLIN RARE MODEL 98 SEMI-AUTO .22LR
Description:
Very clean rarely seen Marlin model 98 made from 1957 to 1959 with less than 10, 000 made! This fine gun has about 98% factory blue finish and a clean walnut stock with tiger grain, and exhibits only the most minor handling dings. Comes with a grooved top receiver mounted Marlin scope with very good optics, and the original Marlin breech bolt peep sight that can be used to see through the Weaver scope rings. The rear dovetail cut has a stud installed and has the front original hooded sight. Also comes with a russet red leather sling that looks about new. The bore on the 22" barrel is clean, shiny and rifled! The original owner had coated the metal parts with long term oil to store his guns, so may need more cleaning. This is a tube mag 15 shot through the butt, feed. It would be very difficult to up grade or replace the quality level of this rare gun.We don’t have asite . I prefer money orders or a check.
