Description: MARLIN M-94 TAKEDOWN OCTAGON RIFLE IN .25-20 CALIBER, #381XXX, MADE ABOUT 1908. The receiver and takedown ring are mainly a mottled silvery gray with some small traces of case color in the most protected areas. Shows good blue on the loading gate and bolt. Barrel and mag show fine blue that is a little aged with some light freckling and some thinning/mixing gray on the mag tube, but fine overall with good markings and original buckhorn rear sight and Rocky Mountain blade front sight. Stock and forend are solid with tight wood to metal fit. The stock finish is looking a little flaked and dry. Bore is slightly dark, but mainly excellent with any roughness very minor. Tight action and takedown with strong hammer spring and safety notch.
