Marlin Model 27S, 25-20 Caliber pump with starred tang indicating Marlin's pick of the best at that time! Beautiful overall condition with original factory blue and stock finish!  Interior parts are crisp and excellent condition, mechanical function is excellent . Has been test fired with no issues. Original bore was kind of marginal so shipped rifle to Randy Selby in Wyoming for a new barrel liner! Rady Selby is the best of the best and one of the few old timers left that knows these old rifles. His workmanship is immpecable! Rifles shoots great. Most if not all of these vintage Marlins were used for meat to feed the family. They needed something a little more powerful than their standard .22 Calibers so, Marlin resized their 32-20 Caliber  to the accomodate the 25-20. Rifle is all original except the new liner and condition is excellent as photos will show. PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS FOR DEATAILS/CONDITIONS AS ALL SALES AS IS AND FINAL! It is highly recommended to have a qualified gun smith check any/all vintage firearms for your own protection as I assume NO responsility for anyone firing such!
