Very rare Marlin model 32  hammerles pump action .22 rifle made for one year only in 1915, Take Down, shoots S.L.LR, Due to Marlin stopping production of sporting arms and making machine guns and arms for the military during WW I this model was never continued . This rifle is also stamped with the Lyman stamp on the pistol grip, Lyman purchased firearms from manufactures and put their sights on them and then resold them to promote their products these gun were stamped with a Lyman stamp. This rifle has a Lyman peep sight and also stamped Lyman. 24 inch octagon barrel with flip down rear sight liklely added by Lyman, Marlin hard rubber butt plate, Bluing is excellent and original, Ballard rifling and bore are very nice condition, 2/3 lenght magazine tube, Plain pistol grip stock and forearm are excellent with original finish, The serial number is stamped on the inside of the upper tang and the stock needs to be removed to see it, I have not done this but the previous told me he had and it is serial # 12.
