MOD 1889 Deluxe 38-40 with 28" octagon barrel. Only about 2250 MFG in this barrel length. Retains 99% original blue and a mirror bore. Wood is excellent with sharp checking and all it's original varnish. 98% case color hammer and lever. Like other fine Marlins I have after setting in storage untouched for years, there is a spot of oxidation on the butt plate "see photos" This is a fine investment quality rifle "Antique
