VA 7/29/24 THIS IS TRULY AN EXTRAORDINARY GUN...PLS READ: Made in 1994 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Model 1894 loaded with special features. lst is the letter from Marlin confirming the purchase to the employee: important both for provenance but espcially when you see the hand selected AAA wood. The decorative outer box is perfect as is the properly labeled outer shipping box and all papers are as new. It has a 24" richly and deeply blued oct barrel. The receiver which is fully engraved the the Marlin Rider on one side and buck deer on the other in addtion to lovely scroll done by the Engraving company in Italy who's been in business since 1955 Bottega C Giovanelli. In addtion the receiver and lever and bolt were spectacularly Case Hardened by Turnbull for Marlin...This gun could not possibly be nicer. It is numbered # 87 (of 2500) When new this gun sold for not too much under 1000.00 30 years ago.
