Extremely rare! Marlin Model 336, chambered in .250-3000/.250 Savage.  These were built as prototypes and less that 12 were ever made. 
This one has the original finish,  and properly proof marked JM barrel. It has the 2/3 twisted tubular magazine the was used from the Remington model in order to correct feeding concerns. 24" barrel length.  
It is in collector's grade excellent condition,  and has been stored for over 20yrs as a " Safe Queen"
The blueing and finish are excellent with almost no sign of wear.
